What we drop in the neighborhood
This is a homeowner's part of Brooklyn, so a lot of orders are driveway jobs: a new roof, a rear extension, or a paver patio going in behind a Flatlands two-family. A single Standard Porta Potty on the driveway keeps the crew out of the client's indoor bathroom for the length of the build, which is exactly what most homeowners here want.
Neighborhood gatherings round out the weekly orders. Parish festivals, school field days and graduation parties near Kings Highway and Flatlands Avenue take the Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty and a Handwashing Station whenever families and food are involved, and a larger turnout gets a second standard unit to keep the lines moving on the day.
Where the unit actually goes
Unlike much of the borough, Flatlands homes usually have a driveway or a fenced side yard, so we can set a unit off the street entirely. That keeps it out of the alternate-side parking shuffle and gives our truck a clean approach on service day without blocking a neighbor.
Where a job fronts a busier avenue instead, we place at the curb clear of the crosswalk and the bus stop, tight to the property line so pedestrians and traffic both keep moving past the site through the day.
Planning across the year
Spring and summer bring the outdoor projects and the graduation-season parties, and those weekend slots go quickly, so we book them ahead and often deliver on Friday. When winter sets in, driveway units stay put on firm ground, and we keep servicing straight through snow and freeze so a slow-season renovation is never held up by the cold.
