What the peninsula needs
Edgemere has seen a lot of new building on the old lots, and those sites lean on the standard unit, staged inside the fence with a handwashing station for the crew. Where a job runs long or takes inspectors and visitors, the deluxe flushing unit is the sensible step up.
Beach season changes the mix. A community day near the boardwalk, a lot turned into a pop-up event space, or a family gathering by the water wants the ADA accessible unit so everyone is covered, and the climate-controlled restroom trailer is there when an occasion calls for stalls and running water. Sand and open exposure are part of the job here, so we set units where wind and soft ground will not tip them.
Setting a unit near the sand
There is more open ground out here than in the dense boroughs, so units often set inside a lot or on a firm staging pad rather than the curb. Near the beach we avoid loose sand and pick a compacted spot so the unit stays level, and we keep it clear of the boardwalk access and any flood-prone low point. On the residential streets it is a standard curb drop with the door turned from foot traffic. Roadway, boardwalk, or beach placement may need a right-of-way permit, and the city is the one to check with before the date.
Storms, seasons, and service
Tell us the cross streets and the dates and we schedule delivery and swaps to fit. Construction units get weekly service; a busy beach-day unit can be pumped between waves of the crowd. The peninsula takes nor'easters, coastal flooding, and hard winter freeze, so we treat cold-weather units with antifreeze and can move quickly when a storm cleanup needs sanitation on the ground fast.
