Beach-season gear for the Rockaways
In summer the phone rings for surf contests, beach cleanups, and boardwalk pop-ups, and those all lean on standard units and handwashing stations spaced along the sand. Everything shows up rinsed and stocked so the crowd never waits.
The newer Arverne By The Sea builds keep contractors renting standard units by the block, while beach weddings and catered oceanfront nights step up to deluxe flushing units or the climate-controlled luxury restroom trailer. ADA accessible units go out for any public event so the beach stays open to everyone.
Setting units on a sandy peninsula
Sand is the whole challenge out here. We set units on the boardwalk edge, a paved path, or a sheet of plywood rather than open beach, because loose sand lets a unit lean or sink. On a build we place near the staging so trades are not crossing the dunes all day.
The peninsula is one long strip with limited cross streets, so we agree on a delivery window that clears beach traffic. If your placement is on the boardwalk or a public street, check with the city or Parks about a permit before the truck rolls out.
Serving the peninsula through the seasons
We run the Rockaways from Far Rockaway through Edgemere and Arverne to Rockaway Beach on one coastal route, so a summer add-on rarely means a long wait. Give us the block, the boardwalk entrance nearest you, and the length of the rental, and we will set the drop and pickup. Event weekends get extra servicing so units stay fresh through a hot, busy Saturday. When a Rockaway event grows past its first plan, we can bring extra units out on short notice before the weekend.
